Sandile Simelane Posted On 18-May-2015

Good day, My name is Sandile Simelane, I drive a 2011 2 motion TDI double cab Amarok. I bought the car last year around August from Toyota Automark in Rustenburg. The car had around 46000 km on the clock with a full service history. I must say I enjoyed the car immensely from a Golf 6 GTI DSG. On the 13/04/2015 I took the car for regular service to The Glen VW, I have attached a copy of the warranty invoice. Two weeks later I drove down to Durban for the long weekend with my son. However, on our way back the cam-belt broke without warning. I called VW assist and they told me that my warranty had expired and they could not help. I had intended to contact the dealer in Rustenburg to find out: (1) Why they did not give the option to extend the warranty when they knew it had expired when I bought the car. (2) I am told that the cam-belt is checked during every 30 000 km service, my car had gone in at 57000km to The Glen VW. It is clear to me that they did not check the cam-belt be
